Annual payment in advance
One invoice for the full annual licence, paid at the start of the agreed licence period. This is the simplest option for organisations that budget or raise purchase orders annually.
In-house licence
The cloud-hosted Salix Monitor 360 SaaS service is the simplest choice for most customers. The in-house licence provides a self-hosted server monitoring option for established organisations that need Salix Monitor 360 inside infrastructure they control because of hosting policy, governance, security, procurement or operational requirements.
An in-house installation gives your organisation a licensed Salix Monitor 360 package for one approved internal deployment. Your own IT team is responsible for the server, hosting environment, access controls, backups, monitoring, security and day-to-day operation unless separate managed services are agreed.
Both in-house options are annual licences. The licence commitment is annual, while the invoice schedule can be agreed around your procurement and budgeting requirements, including annual payment in advance, quarterly invoicing or monthly invoicing where agreed in writing.
GBP is the billing and reference currency. Euro amounts are approximate equivalents calculated from the current ECB reference rate; the Help page shows the current rate and reference date. If invoicing in EUR is separately agreed for an in-house licence, the applicable EUR amount is confirmed in the written quotation or order.
Commercial terms
The licence period and the payment schedule are separate. Monthly or quarterly invoicing does not convert the in-house licence into a month-to-month subscription.
One invoice for the full annual licence, paid at the start of the agreed licence period. This is the simplest option for organisations that budget or raise purchase orders annually.
The annual licence can be split across four scheduled invoices where quarterly billing better matches your organisation's procurement or cash-flow requirements.
The annual licence can also be split across twelve scheduled invoices where monthly billing is the better operational fit. The annual licence commitment still applies.
The agreed licence period, invoice schedule, support scope and any bespoke engineering allowance are recorded in the relevant quotation, order or agreement before the in-house package is supplied.
Installation requirements
An in-house installation runs in infrastructure controlled by your organisation. The final topology and capacity are agreed during the suitability review, but every installation needs the following foundations.
A dedicated VPS, virtual machine or physical Linux server running a currently supported Ubuntu LTS release. Capacity is agreed around your organisations, users, monitors, retention and scanning workload.
A suitable internal or public hostname, DNS control and a trusted TLS certificate so administrators and users reach the platform securely.
Firewall rules and outbound connectivity appropriate for monitored services, agents, alert delivery, updates and any approved integrations.
An approved SMTP service or mail relay for account messages, alerts, reports and other operational notifications.
A documented approach for database and application backups, restore testing, operating-system patching, capacity monitoring and incident recovery.
An internal administrator or team able to manage the server, privileged access, security controls and day-to-day platform operation.
That is part of the suitability review, which considers expected usage and confirms a sensible starting specification before an installation is agreed.
Discuss technical requirementsLicence options
Business is the supported in-house licence for organisations with their own IT team. Managed / Enterprise is a higher-touch working relationship that adds agreed bespoke engineering, custom monitoring and more direct technical involvement.
Business is the main in-house licence for organisations with their own IT team. It includes the licensed Salix Monitor 360 package and the support structure needed to install, roll out and operate it sensibly.
Business is the full in-house licence and support package: licensing, installation guidance, updates, priority support, onboarding and scheduled update help. Bespoke Salix Monitor 360 development, custom monitors and third-party integrations are not included unless separately agreed and quoted.
Managed / Enterprise includes the Business licence package and adds a closer working relationship with Willow Software. It is intended for organisations that need priority support, planned technical involvement and an agreed level of bespoke engineering around their own operational requirements.
Bespoke development is scoped and agreed before work starts. The annual Managed / Enterprise fee is not an unlimited development retainer. Larger features, complex integrations, customer-specific agents, specialist monitor types, external API work and major platform changes may require a separate quotation depending on size, risk and ongoing maintenance impact.
What changes with in-house
The in-house licence is not just a bigger hosted plan. It moves the installation into your environment, so the offer is reviewed before agreement.
Your organisation hosts the server and controls the infrastructure, network access, backup approach, operating system patching and internal access policies.
Each in-house installation includes a Super Admin account for a trusted senior administrator with control over organisations, users, monitors, agents, alerts, reports, branding, limits and system settings.
Willow Software supplies the licence, product package, guidance, updates and agreed support. Managed / Enterprise adds the closer technical relationship and agreed bespoke engineering scope.
Tell Willow Software whether Business or Managed / Enterprise looks like the better fit, along with the support level, payment schedule and any bespoke requirements you expect. The suitability review then confirms the right licence and commercial scope.
